The seventh conference of the Polish-Ukrainian Bible Institute in Lublin, dedicated to teaching methods and the organization of camps and leisure activities for children and young people, will be held on April 15. The title of the conference is „Polish special features of Christian education and organization of Christian camps”.
The Polish-Ukrainian Bible Institute in Lublin is an educational space that brings together the experiences of Christian communities from Poland and Ukraine. Our goal is to educate and build future elites. Children and young people will quickly grow up and give shape and direction to our community. They will be the future politicians, lawyers and judges. They will be educators of the next generation, scientists, doctors and parents. What will their values be? Will they be based on the philosophies of humanism, evolutionism, the new tolerance, materialism, or will they make decisions drawing wisdom from biblical truths?
At the Institute’s seventh convention, we will address biblical ways of teaching and reaching out to children and young people. We will outline the mission and goals of Christian education. We will present what ministry among children and youth practically looks like on the example of camps and children’s clubs organized by „Solid Rock Mission” from Ukraine and „Camp Genesis” from Poland. We will present ways and tools of work among children.
We hope to prepare, equip and encourage new workers to educate the younger generation.
The lectures will be given by Krzysztof Kolt – organizer of Christian summer camps for children and youth „Camp Genesis” for over 10 years and owner of two Christian kindergartens, as well as Olga Felonenko and Anna Rozhkova – organizers of Christian camps for children and youth „Solid Rock Mission”.
The Polish-Ukrainian Bible Institute in Lublin is the first project of its kind in our country. The main goal of the Institute is to integrate biblical Christians from Ukraine and Poland to carry out evangelistic and church projects together, as well as to exchange experiences of working for Jesus in the Ukrainian and Polish peoples, learn from each other and pray together for the future of our nations. The lectures are given by pastors, professors and Christian leaders from various evangelical churches and organizations.
The first lectures of the Polish-Ukrainian Bible Institute in Lublin were held on August 20, 2022. To date, six conferences of the Institute have taken place:
- „Discipline in the Church”.
- „How to read and study the Bible independently?”
- „The Reformation in Poland – lessons for contemporaries”.
- „Will our generation carry out the great missionary command of Jesus in Poland?”
- „Christianity and psychology. Pastoral care in the prevention of mental dysfunctions, diseases and disorders”
- „How to gain power in the state?”
