Last weekend, November 11-13, 2022, Christians from Poland and Ukraine participated in the fourth convention of the Polish-Ukrainian Bible Institute in Lublin. In addition to the training part, which was led by Joe Losiak and Pastor Pawel Chojecki, participants had the extraordinary opportunity to attend a wonderful concert by Jerzy and Malgorzata Dajuk performing with the musicians of Missio Musica.
The fourth convention of the Polish-Ukrainian Bible Institute in Lublin began on Friday, November 11. On that day, on the occasion of Independence Day, we organized a wonderful concert by Jerzy and Malgorzata Dajuk, who performed together with the musicians from Missio Musica. This extremely talented and dedicated to Jesus musical group touched the hearts and souls of the audience. They, of course, performed their brilliant musical interpretation of Psalm 23. The concert will soon be published on the YouTube channel of our TV. The concert was followed by a discussion on how to reach Poles with the gospel of Jesus. The meeting was attended by pastors from Bible churches in Poland.
Saturday, November 12, was a lecture day. The theme was „Will our generation carry out the great missionary mandate of Jesus in Poland?” The first three lectures were given by Joe Losiak, who presented his perspective on the evangelization of modern Poland. The fourth lecture was prepared by Pastor Pawel Chojecki. In his lecture, the pastor pointed out those characteristics of churches and pastors that contribute to the spiritual growth of the church, in line with the testament of Jesus.
The culmination of the day was a worship evening, led by Jerzy and Malgorzata Dajuk with the music group of the New Covenant Church in Lublin.
Joe Losiak, an American missionary of Polish origin, is a co-creator of the evangelization success of the Light-Life Movement in the 1970s and 1980s in Poland. He has been in service to Jesus for sixty years. He has been coming to Poland every year for many years because he still dreams of Jesus’ revolution in our country. He met Pastor Paweł Chojecki for the first time a year ago – they complement each other very well in the work of evangelization. In just a few months, they have already managed to complete several projects. The publishing house Against the Tide has just released Joe Losiak’s book „Jesus Revolution. Discipleship without reservations”.
Lectures from the fourth convention are available on the YouTube channel of the Polish-Ukrainian Bible Institute.
The Polish-Ukrainian Bible Institute in Lublin is the first such project in Poland. The main goal of the Institute is to integrate biblical Christians from Ukraine and Poland in order to implement joint evangelization and church projects and exchange experiences of working for Jesus in Ukraine and Poland, learn from each other and pray together for the future of our nations. During the school year, ten sessions will take place – one per month.
The lecturers are pastors, professors, and Christian leaders drawn from various evangelical churches and organizations.
